Need for Speed: World is the 15th installment in the long-running racing video game Need for Speed franchise published by Electronic Arts Games (EA Games). World is free to play online. It takes on the gameplay style of Most Wanted and Carbon, focusing on illegal racing, tuning and police chases, and adds classic MMO elements to the mix such as special abilities.
I was brought into the project to design the web portion of the interface to the game title. With the website getting close to 100k unique visitors daily, the website needed to be redesigned with new features. By adding a store, leaderboard and social media features, we were able to bump daily unique visitors to 150k in just 8 months. Also, by experimenting with A/B/n testing on landing pages, logins and purchase flows, I was able to publish the best interface solutions.
