Since each design is a post, having a clean and lean UI to sort out 365 designs was imperative.
A Google Doodle theme. Each design had sections for tag clouds, comments, description and ability to navigate chronologically.

DS is my little 365-design project. Kind of like the photography-based
365-projects you see on Flickr, my goal was to design something new everyday for 365 days. And to put a little twist on things, I had a weekly theme and a time limit of 2 hours per design.
This was a great project, one that took great time and dedication. Taking on this project during my busiest year ever (Olympics, new job, my wedding) was extremely difficult. I do not recommend anyone to take this task on because you will not sleep much.
For this project, I designed each daily design using software like Photoshop and Illustrator. I designed the website using a Wordpress platform. This project obviously needed a funky name and logo, which is why it got the name Design Somethin'. It also spurred a movement of saying words without the letter 'g'.
